Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK for this. Please state your expected rate and availability upon application. Carryout cementing and casing tally calculations, ensuring sufficient stocks of chemicals cement and pipe are available to perform the planned operations. Specifically carry out an arithmetic check of all casing and liner strings on the final tally. Request mudloggers to carryout surge / swab calculations for all casing running operations In coordination with service companies, carryout deck checks / pre-job checks of casing / cementing / wellhead equipment and understand functionality of all tools and equipment Carryout spot ID check of casing and pre-measured lengths Closely monitor casing running operations including double checking of tally, including joints run / joints to be run / joints remaining on deck Understand and monitor the cementing operation, including mixing and pumping of spacer / barrels of cement mixed / dart dropping operations / barrels of displacement fluid / plug bump pressures. Witness casing shoe integrity tests and calculate min leak-off values. Carry out Well Plan modeling on, buckling to run liners, torque and drag modeling. Complete casing and cementing reports in Peloton in a timely manner Production of Daily Drilling Report Calculation of kick-tolerance Writing of hole section summaries for EOWR Understand the function of all down hole tools, including the basic function of all MWD / LWD tools Understand the Survey and IFR QA/QC procedures Understand basic functionality of mud products and fluids Monitor the drilling performance (ROP / formation response / flow rate / pump pressure / surface torque / WOB / down hole vibration / hole cleaning / LWD formation response) and advise the Drilling Supervisor of any concerns and/or potential improvements, particularly Excessive levels of vibration Excessive surge / swab pressure (BAP) Poor drilling performance Poor hole cleaning Check vibration limits are within predetermined limits Skills and Experience Degree qualified (engineering) IWCF well control Offshore medical and survival 3 - 5 years experience (minimum) with recognised operator
