Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK. Please state your availability and salary upon application.

Offshore, working rotation on a back to back basis. 180 day contract. The rotations are normally 4 weeks on 4 weeks off, however may slide left or right by mutual agreement. There is an offshore rate per day on top of salary. Each day onshore or offshore counts towards one day of the 180. Following the 180 day an onshore day rate will apply based on salary.

The Field Engineer should make themselves aware of, and understand, their responsibilities as detailed within
processes on the Business Management System (BMS).
Review all offshore project documentation and highlight changes and/or discrepancies between preliminary and
final issue documentation.
Manage Service Departments within the project duration.
Co-ordinate the generation of procurement, fabrication and vessel mobilisations inclusive of scopes of work,
procedures, drawings, sketches, etc.
Ensure technical accuracy of procurement, fabrication and installation documentation.
Prepare and deliver presentations of the offshore construction techniques and methods during third party reviews,
Risk Assessments etc.
Co-ordinate the preparation of fabrication and offshore construction "as-built" documentation packages.
Train Junior Project Engineers and graduates when required.

Ensure personnel involved with the project works fully understand all relevant project documentation and
requirements especially all safety and quality related witness points.
Ensure technical accuracy and compliance of offshore construction and inspection activities with contract
requirements, (ie. witness and hold points).
Act as Focal Point for the resolution of technical queries and issues raised during the performance of offshore
construction and inspection activities (including co-ordination with onshore support where appropriate).
Be accountable to Engineering Manager / Project Manager / Offshore Project Manager for all engineering aspects
of offshore operations.
Help manage the offshore construction schedule including liaison with Offshore Project Manager and Client
Representatives with respect to planning workscope execution, schedule changes plus impacts and maintenance of
the "as-built".
Help highlight contract variations during execution of the offshore construction activities and compilation of all
required supporting evidence and documentation.
Compile and work with the Dive Supervisor in generation of Dive Plans.
Review Daily Progress Reports (prior to issue) for technical accuracy and completeness.
Act as Focal Point or the undertaker for the compilation of "as-built" documentation.
Help ensure that the projects are accountable for the expediting of equipment on-hire - off-hire.
Help ensure that the projects are accountable for the delivery and return of all internal project equipment.
Authorities:
Review deck plans, lift plans and ensure that all vessel equipment, power, hydraulic and pneumatic supplies are
clearly identified prior to equipment arrival. (Vessel Mob Plan, Supplies Drawing)
Technical approval of construction equipment specification and selection, working in conjunction with SCM
Technical approval of fabrication, construction procedures and documentation, working in conjunction with the
Quality Department
Technical approval of purchase order and subcontract documentation and submissions, working in conjunction with
the Contracts Engineer
Ensure correct signoffs are adhered to when accepting mobilisations
Experience in one or more of the following areas:
Subsea Construction and / or IRM works
DSV operations
ROV operations
Platform and / or FPSO works

AUTHORITY/DIMENSIONS
Functional:
Generating and checking engineering documents and data.
Checking subcontractor's third parties documents and data.
Leading of Graduate Engineers.

General Education:
Engineering Qualification and or relevant 3 years plus experience
Ability to articulate learning experiences
Continuing Professional Development

Location Mobility:
Primarily based offshore onboard a Vessel, with trips overseas.
Holds a valid offshore medical and survival certificates
