Supervisory and Managerial Duties:
To act as Discipline Focal Point for onshore engineering
To ensure the engineering team has the correct numbers, competencies and balance of experience to deliver the engineering workload
Deploying teams of experienced and qualified engineers to meet the engineering demands
Delivering quality, cost effective and timely engineering services in a demanding environment of change, short interval planning and conflicting priorities
Process owner for all engineering processes
Responsible for maintaining and developing Engineering
Ensure understanding and compliance with current legislation affecting ISC activities, and advising others as appropriate
Ensuring the Engineering team understand and follow requirements. Maintain rollout of changes.
Support the development of outsourced working arrangements, including rollout or Shell specific procedures and standards.
Personnel development and focal point for all engineering graduates/ trainees
Perform Sponsor or Holder roles for designated subcontracts
Consistent use of best practice approach
Education & Qualifications:
Engineering Hons degree
Chartered Status preferred
Specific Training / Specialist Skills:
Excellent multi discipline technical awareness in Brownfield Engineering.
Experience:
10 years O&G industry experience
5 years in core engineering discipline
Personal Skills:
Good leadership and man management skills
Good communicator and above average interpersonal skills
