Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK for this role. Please state your availability and expected rate upon application.
Undertake well design concept selection based upon the Well Proposal documentation issued by the subsurface team.
Generate the well concept selection recommendation and reporting.
Carryout detailed well design including wellhead, casing, drilling fluids, cementation and directional planning.
Work alongside the completions and welltest engineers to integrate requirements into the well design.
Input selected design into the Well Basis of Design document.
Prepare well cost estimates for approval.
Provide input into the procurement process for goods and services incl detailed Scopes of Work.
Maintain and develop all documentation required in the well design process including Casing Design Report, Well Notification and preliminary Drilling Program
Skills and Experience
Engineering Degree
5 Years Experience within an a recognized operator
Ability to work unsupervised on a range of well planning activities
UKCS well planning and operations experience desired
Offshore experience desired – jack-up and semi-submersible
Conversant with general well planning software
ICF well control
